At one point in time the Nubian people and others of what is now Egypt and Sudan, enjoyed a great civilization with a prosperous economy. The Build Nubia project seeks to rebuild that former greatness of that Kingdom of Kush through African unity. The top initial priority of the project is establishing an ecologically friendly self-sustaining agri-village called "Akhirah". "Greening the desert", as we call the process, refers to the process of reclaiming and revitalizing arid or desert land to make it more fertile, productive, and sustainable for agricultural or ecological purposes. There is a residential settlement for Afrodescendants from the diaspora and e-nationality available for all who contribute to the project.
